The Privacy Control Panel tab allows you to control the deletion and retention of cookies and history files on your computer. 

Unfortunately, the Microsoft operating system does not offer adequate control over these sensitive files.  Thus, you will find that Guard-IE offers considerable abilities not provided by Internet Explorer.
 

The Privacy Control Panel gives you access to the following three classes of privacy features (click each link for more information):

• Advanced Cookie Management - Let's you explore cookies on your machine and specify cookies to keep while having all others automatically deleted.
   

• Web Use History Deletion - Let's you specify which of the many records of your Web usage to remove.
   

• Privacy Reporting - Pressing the "Report" button provides you with a report of information (some of which is secret) being stored on your machine.  The report also gives you a convenient summary of non-essential files and cookies which can be deleted and the resulting savings you would receive.
